Why is it so very difficult to communicate with the Paisley Museum or the Glasgow Art Gallery where Alexander Goudie's paintings were - three letters and no response - no wonder ex pats over in Canada get frustrated when they attempt to return to their homeland to participate in life in Scotland - your comments - Maggie

Some time ago you were looking for a U-Boat which sank a few miles off Boddam but I have not seen anything more in the Buchanie since. Is there any plans to continue with the search in the near future?. When in Bloo Toon this year I learned for the first time that the anchor on display outside the museum was fished out of the water around the Skerry Rock. Is this correct and if so which ship did it come from?. Would like your input on this as I had always thought that the anchor belonged to the St.Catherine of Dub fame. All the best.
