Connections 1st (www.connections1st.com) is a new organisation, based in Edinburgh has recently launched an innovative service aimed at matching International students and Universities with Scottish universities. Connections 1st unique selling proposition is that they are one of the very few organisations who can provide International students with a choice of university options. Many students abroad often don't have a wide choice of location and courses. Connections 1st contract with Scottish universities to ensure quality service and smooth admission services. Colin Mackenzie, director, says "this exciting company is something new in UK and Scottish terms, not only do we try and make the whole education process easier for pupils, but we work closely with Scottish universities to smooth out the process". As Scotland's population remains relatively static and is in danger of declining the importance of attracting international students increases. Offering students helpful choices, not only on courses but in location with experts with local knowledge should be an invaluable service. |
